Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the outcome.
The promotion will be conducted during the promotion period as listed in these terms.
To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail. By providing your details, you go into the draw to win one (1) $500 shopping voucher.

Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter.
Entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18 except a director, manager, employee and immediate family of the Promoter and their associated companies and agencies and participating outlets. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and must provide a valid phone number and email address.
Entrants must successfully complete the quiz and answer all questions correctly.
Entries may only be submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and will not be accepted by the Promoter in any other form.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize.
Proof deemed suitable for verification is at the Promoter's discretion. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
The entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter into this agreement and hereby indemnifies the Promoter from and against any and all costs and damages incurred as a result of any breach of the representations and warranties made herein.
The competition commences at 00:01, 01/03/2026 AEST and will run until 23:59, 29/05/2026 AEST.
A winner is drawn after the competition ends. To be in the draw, entries must be received prior to the close of the competition. The time of entry will be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter's database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
An entrant must complete the registration form with their first name and last name, a valid email address, phone number and postcode, and must successfully complete the quiz. Entrants with incomplete contact details or who did not answer all questions correctly are eliminated from the draw.
Entrants are required to take full responsibility for the content of their entry and to ensure it complies with these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to verify that the entry is the entrant's original work. If an entry cannot be verified to the Promoter's satisfaction, the entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, edit, modify, delete or remove any part of an entrant's entry.
Entry is restricted to one per person for the duration of the campaign.
This competition is a game of skill.
The winner will be the valid entry judged by the Promoter. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result or any other decisions made in connection with the promotion.
If any determination falls on a public holiday, it will take place on the following business day.
The winner will be notified by telephone or email within two days of being determined.
Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry. Should an entrant's contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter.

If the winner has not claimed the prize within 2 weeks of being notified, they will forfeit the prize, and it will be awarded to the next valid entry as judged by the Minerals Council of Australia. The new winner will be notified by telephone or email within two days of that determination.
The prize is a $500 gift voucher.
Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise from accepting the prize.
Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all conditions of use and the prize supplier's requirements. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond its control corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.
The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
If this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under State Regulation.
Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website are the entrant's responsibility and depend on the entrant's internet service provider.
Any entrant found to be using software or third-party applications to enter multiple times will have all entries invalidated and any prize claim forfeited. If such an entrant has already been awarded a prize, they must immediately return it to the Promoter.
An entrant may not use a third party to enter on their behalf, except where required due to a disability. Breach of this condition will result in invalidation of all entries and forfeiture of any prize.
Any entrant found to be entering incorrect contact details will have all entries invalidated and any prize claim forfeited.
If the prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation. Each prize must be taken as stated, and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
The Promoter makes all reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to addresses provided by entrants, but cannot guarantee that prizes returned due to non-delivery will be re-sent. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of prizes.
In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize, the winner permits their submission, image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during participation in the prize, to appear in connection with the Promoter or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media worldwide, without entitlement to any fee for such use.
The Promoter acknowledges that the entrant may own intellectual property rights in any material submitted in connection with their entry (Works). The entrant does not transfer intellectual property rights by submitting an entry but hereby grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide licence to use the Works for the purpose of running, promoting and celebrating the promotion and future promotions. The Promoter may assign and/or sublicense the Works to third parties for the same purpose. Neither the entrant nor any third party shall be entitled to any fee, royalty or other consideration in respect of such licence.
If the entrant holds any moral rights in connection with the Works, the entrant unconditionally and irrevocably consents to minor alterations required for print or display purposes, such as resizing and minor colour correction, notwithstanding that such conduct may amount to derogatory treatment under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). All entrants consent to attribution by either full name or social media handle.
In the case of any outside act, agent or event that prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter's ability to proceed with the competition as described, including vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel and recommence the competition from the start on the same conditions, subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
The Promoter does not exclude any rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the Promoter shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any personal injury suffered in connection with any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in unlawful or improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
All entries become the property of the Promoter (with the exception of any intellectual property rights comprised therein). The Promoter may use entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid, unless otherwise advised by the entrant. Entrants who no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes should contact the Promoter at campaigns@minerals.org.au
Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments, and winners' names published as required under relevant lottery legislation. For public statements and advertisements, the Promoter will only publish the winner's first name, initial and state.
The Promoter collects information about you, including your name and contact details, to provide goods and services, improve offerings, deliver targeted advertising and for purposes described in the Privacy Policy. If you do not provide requested information, the Promoter may not be able to provide the goods or services you require.
